On February 22, the Swiss ambassador to Iran, Nadine Olivieri Lozano, wore the Islamic veil in a meeting with mullahs in the city of Qom, bastion of the most conservative Shiite clerics.
The Free Thought of French-speaking Switzerland reacted to this lack of solidarity with the women of Iran, who for months have been protesting against the obligation to wear this outfit. Their revolution, in the name of “Woman, Life, Freedom”, is severely supressed by the theocratic regime.
